What was involved.
Stonedale Construction was appointed to deliver the construction of a new Lidl food retail store in Telford, undertaking the project from major enabling and groundworks through to the completed retail development.
A significant element of the project is an extensive 70,000-tonne muck shift, preparing and transforming the site ahead of construction of the new store.
Stonedale’s wider scope includes the design and installation of the portal steel frame building and cladding, together with M&E services, internal finishes and associated external works. The 42-week project brings together substantial earthworks and full building construction within a single coordinated programme.
